North Daviess has gone a perfect 9-0 against Bloomfield recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Cougars will look to defend their home field against the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. North Daviess will be strutting in after a victory while Bloomfield will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, North Daviess beat Northeast Dubois 10-5. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Jeeps recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Bloomfield entered their match against South Knox on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Cardinals fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 4-3.

Bloomfield saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dillon Warnick, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

Bloomfield's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for North Daviess, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3-1.

North Daviess skirted past Bloomfield 4-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
