South Central Border (8 Man) recap November 5, 2013

West Elk extended the longest winning streak in South Central Border (8 Man) this week by beating Oxford, 42-32. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Patriots.

Armando Gomez provided a threat through the air and on the ground as West Elk bested the Wildcats.

Alec McDaniel threw for 87 yards and 5 touchdowns.

McDaniel put up the best numbers in passing as Argonia/Attica bested Burrton. McDaniel's favorite target this week was Jack Deviney, who caught 2 passes for 61 yards.

The Titans' McDaniel and Garrett Wells led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-7 quarterback McDaniel has thrown for 1,166 yards this season, while Wells has 34 catches for 415 yards. Chris Haag's team's Gomez leads the league in rushing yards with 1,338.

Argonia/Attica led the league in scoring this week after putting up 64 points on the Chargers. McDaniel ran for 101 yards in the win.
