Basketball Game Preview: Newmarket Mules vs. Mascenic Regional Vikings

The Newmarket Mules are taking a road trip to challenge the Mascenic Regional Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Newmarket will be strutting in after a victory while Mascenic Regional will be coming in after a loss.

Last Friday, Newmarket strolled past Colebrook Academy with points to spare, taking the game 50-34. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mules.

Meanwhile, Mascenic Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 69-66 heartbreaker at the hands of Lin-Wood. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (57), the Vikings still had to take the loss.

Newmarket's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Mascenic Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
