Softball Recap: Elmore County's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

It was a good run, but Elmore County unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 7-3 to the Helena Huskies.

Kayden Edwards made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Raevyn Barris, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Elmore County's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Helena, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-8-2.

Elmore County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-2 win against Mortimer Jordan on the 5th. As for Helena, they have also already played their next game, a 5-0 victory against Marbury on the 5th.
