The matchup between Manor and Norview on Friday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Mustangs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pilots, sneaking past 11-9. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 1-0 victory the Pilots walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Kara Ellis was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kara Williams, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Manor moved to 6-12 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak. As for Norview, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Manor will have a chance to go back-to-back against Norview: the pair will be back at it again later today.
