Soccer Game Preview: Timberline vs. Caldwell

Timberline has gone a perfect 3-0 against Caldwell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. Wolves will look to defend their home pitch against the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Timberline is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

Caldwell better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Timberline's game on Tuesday is any indication, that's when Timberline really gets things going. Wolves were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over Middleton. That looming 5-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Timberline yet this season.

Meanwhile, Caldwell kept a clean sheet against Vallivue on Saturday. They came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 2-0. The win continues a trend for Caldwell in their matchups with Vallivue: they've now won five in a row.

Caldwell now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for Timberline, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1-1.

Timberline beat Caldwell 3-1 in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Will Wolves repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
