Wekiva is a perfect 9-0 against Jones since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Wekiva Mustangs will be taking part in a tournament against the Jones Fightin' Tigers at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Wekiva and 24 for Jones dating back to last season.

Wekiva managed to slip by Lake Buena Vista the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Wekiva came up short against Lake Buena Vista on Monday, falling 10-0.

Meanwhile, Jones lost 15-4 to Colonial on Monday.

Jones saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Malachi Porter, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-1. Another was Adam Valme, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2.

Wekiva's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Jones, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Wekiva has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Jones struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Wekiva took their win against Jones when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 24-9. Does Wekiva have another victory up their sleeve, or will Jones turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
