Basketball Recap: Wabasso Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

Wabasso lost to Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Wabasso Rabbits walked away with a 76-65 victory over the Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds.

Wabasso has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.8 points over those games. As for Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop, they dropped their record down to 9-14 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Wabasso will head out on the road to square off against Central Minnesota Christian at 7:30 p.m. on February 20th. Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop has already played their next game (against St. Mary's), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
