Basketball Recap: Flora Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Flora can now relate to. They were dealt a 61-32 defeat at the hands of the Newton Eagles on Saturday. The Wolves' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Flora's defeat dropped their record down to 5-25. As for Newton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season.

Flora does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Newton, they will challenge Mt. Carmel at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
