Basketball Recap: Johnston City Comes Up Short

Johnston City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 71-54 bruising from the Sesser-Valier Red Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-42 back in December of 2024.

Johnston City's loss dropped their record down to 8-21. As for Sesser-Valier, their win bumped their record up to 8-19.

As of now, neither Johnston City nor Sesser-Valier have any future games scheduled.
