Basketball Recap: Van Buren Comes Up Short

Van Buren was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were outmatched by the Miller City Wildcats and fell 64-24. While losing is never fun, the Black Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 589th, while the Wildcats are ranked 189th).

Van Buren's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Miller City, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-7.

Van Buren does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Miller City, they will welcome Leipsic at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
