Baseball Recap: Whitney Point Comes Up Short

Whitney Point lost against Notre Dame back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles fell 7-2 to the Crusaders. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Whitney Point saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Lounsberry, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that Lounsberry has hit this season.

Whitney Point's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Notre Dame, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.

Whitney Point has already played their next matchup, a 15-3 loss against Charles O. Dickerson on the 24th. As for Notre Dame, they will venture away from home to challenge Moravia at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
