The Falcons pushed the score to 33-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Beetdiggers cut but never quite recovered from.
Meanwhile, Roy faced Weber in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Roy took down Weber 48-34. The Royals' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Robert Young had a dynamite game for Roy, rushing for 176 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.4 yards per carry, and also picking up 90 receiving yards. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making five total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging two interceptions.
Clearfield's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2. As for Roy, their record now sits at 3-0.
Clearfield took a serious blow against Roy in their previous meeting back in September of 2023, falling 56-0.
