Eagle Pass waltzed into their game on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the Del Rio Rams with a sharp 9-2 victory. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

Eagle Pass' win bumped their record up to 13-4-1. As for Del Rio, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-15-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eagle Pass will host Antonian Prep at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Apaches will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Del Rio, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Laredo LBJ at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
