Baseball Game Preview: Kingsbury Falcons vs. Bolton Wildcats

The Kingsbury Falcons will square off against the Bolton Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Kingsbury has given up an average of 10.3 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Kingsbury fell victim to White Station and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 16-0 to the Spartans. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Bolton didn't have quite enough to beat Overton on Thursday and fell 11-10. Even though they lost, the Wildcats' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.2 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Kaden Hubbard was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kevin Webb, who scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Kingsbury's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Bolton, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Kingsbury has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 8.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Bolton struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
