Softball Recap: Humble Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Humble's offense. They came up short against the Silsbee Tigers on Saturday, falling 6-0. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Humble's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Silsbee, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Coming up, Humble will be playing at home against Huntsville at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Silsbee, they will take on King at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.33 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
