Baseball Recap: Clint Takes a Loss

Clint was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-4 to the Coronado Mustangs.

Clint saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joe Aranda, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Joel Villagrana also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Clint's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8-1. As for Coronado, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Clint will take on Lubbock-Cooper in a tournament on Saturday. As for Coronado, they will be taking part in a tournament against Pecos at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
