Volleyball Recap: Colerain Cardinals vs. Lakota West Firebirds
Colerain lost against Lakota West back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Colerain Cardinals lost 3-0 to the Lakota West Firebirds. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lakota West had a senior duo take command as Seerat Kaur had six digs and ten assists and Jules Ramsey had four aces. The dominant performance gave Ramsey a new career-high in aces.
Colerain's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Lakota West, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-7.
Colerain will venture away from home to face off against Badin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakota West, they will host Talawanda at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Talawanda is coming into the game with five straight wins on the road, so Lakota West will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
