Soccer Game Preview: Riverside vs. Irrigon + How To Watch

Riverside has gone a perfect 10-0 against Irrigon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Pirates will face off against the Knights at 6:00 p.m. Irrigon took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Riverside, who comes in off a win.

Riverside will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Friday, then bounced right back against Nyssa on Saturday. The Pirates' defense stepped up to hand the Bulldogs an 8-0 shutout. Riverside haven't had any issues with Nyssa recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Irrigon came up short against Trout Lake on Saturday, falling 9-1. Irrigon have struggled against Trout Lake recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

The win got Riverside back to even at 2-2-1. As for Irrigon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1.

Riverside took their victory against Irrigon in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
