Volleyball Recap: The Noble Academy Starts Season with Loss at Home

The Noble Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Noble Street College Prep Golden Tigers on Wednesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

The Noble Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-23.

Noble Street College Prep has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. The Noble Academy will challenge rival Golder at 9:00 a.m. on the 12th. The matchup will give the Griffins their first taste of in-conference action this season. Meanwhile, Noble Street College Prep is set to take on their familiar foe DRW College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
