Basketball Recap: Palmyra Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Palmyra can now relate to. They took a blow against the Louisville Lions on Monday, falling 77-46. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2019.

Despite the loss, Palmyra still got an impressive performance from Harrison Boyte, who to rack up 14 points. Boyte is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kobee Martin, who posted ten points.

Palmyra has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. The victory made it two in a row for Louisville and bumps their season record up to 10-13.

As of now, neither Palmyra nor Louisville have any future games scheduled.
