Marlington benefitted from Yoder in 4-3 win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Sam Yoder stepped things up a notch to give Marlington the 'W'. Yoder did his part (and then some), tossing seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits (he also didn't allow any walks) for the 'W'.
Yoder and Marlington will head out on the road to take on Norton at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Yoder has dominated as far as innings are concerned (he's averaged 5 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering Norton has only allowed 3.4 per game this season.
