Volleyball Recap: Flushing Takes a Loss

Flushing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marian Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.

Flushing's defeat dropped their record down to 14-16. As for Marian, they pushed their record up to 35-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Flushing didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Fenton on the 13th. As for Marian, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Brighton at 5:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
