Football Game Preview: Tarrant Wildcats vs. Oak Grove Tigers + How To Watch

After each having a week off, the Tarrant Wildcats and the Oak Grove Tigers will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tarrant has given up an average of 29.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tarrant is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games last Friday. They were outmatched by Pleasant Grove and fell 43-13. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 341st, while the Spartans are ranked 111th).

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers last Friday. Oak Grove was just a hair shy of victory and fell 18-17 to West Blocton. The contest marked Oak Grove's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Tarrant's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Oak Grove, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
