A Season-Best Performance from Brayden Tyson Leads Brookwood over Parkview

Brookwood was led to victory by Brayden Tyson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Wednesday. Tyson rushed for 362 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 19.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 82 yards.

Tyson must have Parkview's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Tyson rushed for 149 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 43 receiving yards the last time he and the Panthers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Darnell Kelly Goes Supernova in Peachtree Ridge Victory

Peachtree Ridge found a leader in Darnell Kelly as the squad took down Duluth on Wednesday. Kelly was unstoppable, throwing for 237 yards and four touchdowns on only 19 passes, while also rushing for 48 yards and a touchdown.

Duluth's probably not too fond of Kelly given he always seems to get the better of them. When Kelly last faced the Wildcats back in November of 2023, he rushed for 46 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 179 yards and a touchdown.

Jahmir Joseph's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Duluth over Peachtree Ridge

Duluth had to settle for second on Wednesday, but Jahmir Joseph sure wasn't going down easily. Joseph was dynamite, rushing for 96 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries, while also picking up 49 receiving yards.

Duluth's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Wildcats challenges Parkview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Bryce Green Delivers Best Performance of Season

Peachtree Ridge was led to victory by Bryce Green, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Wednesday. Green picked up 72 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 41 yards. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 60 yards.

This season, Green has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 30.1 receiving yards per game.

Connor Langford Makes It Two for Duluth

The second Duluth player making an appearance here is Connor Langford, and for good reason. He threw for 258 yards and three touchdowns while completing 74.3% of his passes.
