Softball Recap: Medfield Takes a Loss

Medfield lost against Medway back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors lost 18-12 to the Mustangs. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly six runs.

Medfield has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Medway, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Medfield will welcome Norton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Lancers will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Medway, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Bellingham at 5:00 p.m.
