Recap: Meadowcreek Mustangs vs. Duluth Wildcats
The Meadowcreek Mustangs lost against the Duluth Wildcats back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Meadowcreek took a hard 64-46 fall against Duluth.
Duluth's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaylie Zirger, who scored 21 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Zirger has scored all season. Saniya Simmons was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five steals.
Meadowcreek has not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Duluth, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-16.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Berkmar the next time they take the court. Meadowcreek will head out to face Berkmar at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Duluth will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
