Basketball Recap: North Rowan Comes Up Short

North Rowan lost against Mount Pleasant back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The North Rowan Cavaliers took a hard 51-34 fall against the Mount Pleasant Tigers.

When it comes to explaining why North Rowan lost, don't look at Krisstyle Stockton. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten boards. Stockton has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Allanah McAuthur was another key player, putting up four points and three steals.

North Rowan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Mount Pleasant, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8.

North Rowan will venture away from home to square off against East Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mount Pleasant has already played their next matchup (against South Stanly), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
