Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lassiter). They came out on top against the Kell Longhorns on Thursday by a score of 26-7 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered a 7-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Lassiter pushed their record up to 7-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.0 points on average over those games. As for Kell, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-4.

Coincidentally, Lassiter and Kell will both be playing Harrison the next time they take the field. The Longhorns will host the Hoyas at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
