Preview: Northside Patriots vs. Harris County Tigers
Northside is on a four-game streak of home losses, Harris County a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Northside Patriots will take on the Harris County Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Tuesday, things could have been worse for Northside, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 54-36 loss to McIntosh. Northside has struggled against McIntosh recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Harris County pushed their score all the way to 56 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 66-56 to Drew.
Northside's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Harris County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-19 record this season.
Northside took their victory against Harris County when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 63-38. Does Northside have another victory up their sleeve, or will Harris County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
