Basketball Recap: Mize Takes a Loss

Mize was the 44-33 winner over North Forrest when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 49-48 to the Eagles.

Mize's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for North Forrest, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Coming up, Mize will head out on the road to challenge Poplarville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Forrest, they will take on Stone at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' defense better be ready for this one: the Tomcats have averaged an impressive 55.1 points per game this season.
