Soccer Recap: Statesville Starts off Right with Win over North Wilkes

Statesville had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the North Wilkes Vikings on Tuesday as they made off with a 10-1 victory.

Statesville's offense was hitting North Wilkes from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Johnathon Aguilar led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Statesville will head out to take on Elkin at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Wilkes, they will square off against East Surry at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
