Volleyball Recap: Boulder Creek Comes Up Short

Boulder Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the O'Connor Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-6, 25-5.

Lila Burkhart paced Boulder Creek's offense, picking up two kills. Burkhart got some help from Layla Bruhn and her four assists.

Boulder Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for O'Connor, they pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Boulder Creek will challenge Mountain Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on the 8th. O'Connor has already played their next match (against Maryvale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
