Everything went their way against the Huntland Hornets as they made off with a 13-6 win. The Tigers not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since March 7th (when they won 19-5).
As for Huntland, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since March 17, 2025.
For Huntland's part, Jed Ashley was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that Ashley has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Maxwell, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DeKalb County will challenge Central Magnet at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
