Caliche hasn't had much luck against Haxtun recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Caliche will face off against Haxtun at 4:30 p.m. Caliche is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
Caliche made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Holyoke, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Caliche was the clear victor by a 20-10 margin over Holyoke on Thursday. The Buffaloes not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 15, 2024.

Meanwhile, Haxtun started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Wray. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 8-7 on Tuesday. Fightin' Bulldogs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Eagles since on Tuesday.
Like Caliche, Haxtun also got a great game from a two-way player: Madden Larsen. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. The dominant performance also gave Larsen a new career-low in walks (zero). He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Grant Statz was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.
