Soccer Recap: The Colony Comes Up Short

The Colony was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 4-1 to the Sherman Bearcats. The Cougars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bearcats from their previous meeting back in January of 2023.

The Colony's goal came courtesy of Mason Alvarado, which was the first he's scored this season.

The Colony's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Sherman, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

The Colony didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-0 defeat against Turner on the 21st. As for Sherman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 4-0 loss against McKinney North on the 21st.
