Softball Recap: Kingsley-Pierson Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ridge View on Tuesday, Kingsley-Pierson came back down to earth. The Panthers fell just short of the Akron-Westfield Westerners by a score of 5-4 on Saturday. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Westerners from their previous meeting back in June of 2024.

Kingsley-Pierson's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coincidentally, Kingsley-Pierson and Akron-Westfield will both be playing Alta-Aurelia the next time they take the field. The Westerners will head out to face the Warriors at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 12:30 p.m.
