Recap: Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons vs. Pawnee City Indians
The Pawnee City Indians typically have all the answers at home, but on Friday the Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons proved too difficult a challenge. Wilcox-Hildreth took down Pawnee City 33-14.
Gaige Ritner had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 107 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 78 yards and a touchdown while completing 80% of his passes.
Despite the loss, Pawnee City still got an impressive performance from Jett Farwell, who picked up 121 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 112 yards on only 15 carries. Those 112 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Farwell.
Wilcox-Hildreth's win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 9-1. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31.67 points. As for Pawnee City, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which somehow isn't as good as their 9-1 record this season.
Wilcox-Hildreth does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Pawnee City also has no future games currently scheduled.
