Last Friday, everything came up roses for Shiloh Christian against Van Buren as the squad secured a 51-7 victory. The Saints might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Cole Creighton was his usual excellent self, throwing for 196 yards and four TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushing for 57 yards and one score. Shiloh Christian is undefeated when Creighton posts three or more passing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise. Griffin Mason was another key player, rushing for 86 yards on only nine carries.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Shiloh Christian proved: they limited Van Buren to a paltry 0.9 yards per carry. While three picked up at least nine total tackles, Tate Barnard stood above the rest. He picked up a sack and made nine total tackles (2.0 for loss) in addition to snagging an interception. Shiloh Christian didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.4.
Shiloh Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Barnard, Brody Francis, Blake Williams, and Zach Rowe picked up one apiece. Shiloh Christian got some further help from Aiden Pullin: he picked up two sacks and made four total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only El Dorado walked away with it. They took down the Wolves 28-10 on Friday.
Shiloh Christian better keep an eye on Cannon Jacobs. He was instrumental in El Dorado's win, rushing for 70 yards and one touchdown on only five carries, while also throwing for 127 yards and a pair of TDs on only eight passes.
