Softball Recap: Lake Park Comes Up Short

Lake Park and South Elgin squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Lake Park had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Storm by a score of 2-1. The Lancers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Storm earlier this season, when they won 5-2.

Lake Park's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-8. As for South Elgin, the victory was the 18th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 28-4.

As of now, neither Lake Park nor the Storm have any future games scheduled.
