Football Game Preview: Roosevelt/Cleveland NJROTC vs. Gateway Tech

On Saturday Roosevelt/Cleveland NJROTC take on Gateway Tech at 1:00 PM. The squad will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

Last Friday, Roosevelt/Cleveland NJROTC put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They were fully in charge, breezing past Confluence Prep Academy 63-0.

Meanwhile, Gateway Tech have had to suffer through a 4-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They steamrollered Vashon 36-0. Gateway Tech were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Their wins bumped Roosevelt/Cleveland NJROTC to 3-2 and Gateway Tech to 1-4. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
