Baseball Recap: Hammonton Comes Up Short

Hammonton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 9-2 to the Lenape Indians. That's two games in a row now that the Blue Devils have lost by exactly seven runs.

Hammonton saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Midili, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Cooper Mull, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Hammonton's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Lenape, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hammonton will take on St. Augustine Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lenape, they will square off against Rancocas Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
