Basketball Recap: Zion-Benton Takes a Loss

Zion-Benton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Libertyville Wildcats, falling 65-42. While losing is never fun, the Zee-Bees can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 353rd, while the Wildcats are ranked 133rd).

Zion-Benton's record is now 6-16. As for Libertyville, their record now sits at 13-11.

Coming up, Zion-Benton won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against North Chicago at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Libertyville, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge York at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
