There's no place like home for Foothill, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 43-7 victory over the Enterprise Hornets. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cougars considering their six-point performance the contest before.

John Puffer was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 220 yards and five TDs while picking up 11.0 yards per attempt. Those five passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Carson Anderson did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 93 receiving yards.

Foothill didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Mason Calvert. Another thorn in Enterprise's side was Kingston Coates, who picked up a sack and made 14 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Despite the defeat, Enterprise saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Koby Johnson rushed for 138 yards and one touchdown. The Hornets also got help from Trason Fuller, who showed off his sure hands for 107 receiving yards.

The win got Foothill back to even at 5-5. As for Enterprise, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Foothill and Enterprise are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Cougars will square off against Las Plumas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Enterprise, they will head out to square off against Chico at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 14.8 points per game this season, so the Hornets' offense will have their work cut out for them.
