Basketball Recap: Bullitt East Comes Up Short

If Bullitt East was feeling good fresh off their 70-19 takedown of Jeffersontown last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bullitt East Chargers took a 56-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ballard Bruins. The Chargers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bruins apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Bullitt East's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Ballard, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season.

Bullitt East will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Christian Academy-Louisville at 10:00 a.m. Ballard has already played their next game, a 79-27 loss against Sacred Heart on the 28th.
