Volleyball Recap: Hampton Roads Academy Takes a Loss

Hampton Roads Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Veritas School Lions, falling 3-0. The Navigators were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Hampton Roads Academy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Veritas School work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-6, 26-24.

Hampton Roads Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Veritas School, they pushed their record up to 4-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Hampton Roads Academy will challenge Summit Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Veritas School, they will face off against Stuart Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
