Baseball Recap: Southwest Covenant Comes Up Short

Southwest Covenant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 9-1 to the Christian Heritage Crusaders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-4 last Monday.

Southwest Covenant saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brewer Lee, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Southwest Covenant's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Christian Heritage, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

Looking ahead, Southwest Covenant will head out to challenge Geary at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Christian Heritage, they will welcome Stroud at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
