Estero wins going away against Hardee

Recap: Estero Wildcats vs. Hardee Wildcats

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Estero Wildcats walked away with it. They put the hurt on Hardee with a sharp 26-6 victory on Friday. Estero pushed the score to 26-0 by the end of the third, a deficit Hardee cut but never quite recovered from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Estero to victory, but perhaps none more so than Malik Allen, who rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown. Matthew Wilson was another key contributor, throwing for 205 yards and three touchdowns.

The win makes it two in a row for Estero and bumps their season record up to 9-2. As for Hardee, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3.

Estero will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Verot at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Verot will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. Hardee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
