Soccer Recap: Rio Grande's Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

Rio Grande barely beat West Mesa the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Ravens' defense stepped up to hand the Mustangs a 3-0 shutout on Wednesday. The victory was some much needed relief for Rio Grande as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Aracely Gallegos and Dorthy Padilla scored all three of Rio Grande's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.
