Volleyball Recap: Riverdale Ridge's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Riverdale Ridge had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Northglenn Norsemen as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Ravens not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0).

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-17, 25-5.

Tessa Nap paced Riverdale Ridge's offense, picking up 11 kills. Nap got some help from Veronica Lear and her 19 assists. Lear was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Riverdale Ridge's record is now 5-10. As for Northglenn, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Riverdale Ridge will head out to challenge Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northglenn, they will venture away from home to square off against Berthoud at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
